I look at the moon
And see she’s away
Start singing a tune
“How long till you stay?
A week feels like a year
Watching empty clouds
I miss you my dear
When you’re not around”
How about I close my eyes
Sit down and meditate
To imagine her arise
And sooth my wait
Before I know it
The wait has ended
I find myself moonlit
For she’s descended
Knowing I love her
To come and hug my soul
And we will surrender
